| Morgan Katarn was a human male from Sulon and a farther to Kyle Katarn.During the Galactic Civil War, he supported the resistance to the Empire, but his son knew nothing of his actions and had left Sulon to take Imperial training at the Carida Academy. While Katarn had been aiding a refugee effort on the barren world of Ruusan, he had discovered ancient ruins that pointed the way to the Valley of the Jedi, the battleground between the ancient Jedi and Sith.When the Empire learned of his rebel activities, Katarn was killed for treason, but official Imperial records indicated that he had been murdered by Rebel dissidents. | ||
